boiling coolant in expansion tank
only happens after a longish trip never during idling
no sign of leaks
replaced radiator some hoses thermostat rad cap
doesnt overheat

yeah headgasket nope on mixing no exhaust gasses in cooolant

Could the timing belt be wearing out? If an engine is out of time, it will run hotter over an extended period of time.

It has done this for a while its just now that I am getting tired of the gurgling noise and coolant loss.

Check the car's VIN. Compare it with the title. If they match, and the title says that the vehicle is a Miata, there's your problem.
